I had an email yesterday from the Fox56 Morning Edition, my interview will run on June 2nd between 7:30 and 8:00 AM! If you’re close enough to Lexington to get that channel, definitely check it out. I’m curious to see how it comes out. I thought it went well! I also had another article in the paper about the book signings, so things have been picking up. I hope it turns into people coming out…

What is he shoveling?
Whew! What a whirlwind of activity here around DanMarvin.net. I’ve redesigned the site, I hope you like it. I added a custom header picture (with the outhouse), and added a button for buying Briefs with Paypal. That took quite a bit of research, but I finally got it and I think it looks quite spiffy. I also changed the background theme to be a little cleaner, lined up the pages in the order I wanted them to appear, and added some new graphics. Oh, and I added a preview. I’m still waiting to hear about when the Fox56 interview is going to air, but it should be in the next few days. Stay tuned!

The Fox56 Morning Edition Set
Today I had the interview for Fox 56s Morning Edition. The process was very interesting, the interview itself should air in the next two weeks. I stopped by the studio a few minutes before 8 AM and watched Jennifer Nime Palumbo and Todd Borek finishing up their morning broadcast. Afterwards, Jennifer taped some promos for tomorrow’s program.
At about 8:15, it was my turn. After a few fact checks, Jennifer loaded information into her Tele-Prompter and we started in. She asked me about the book of course, about writing in general, if I have any advice for other authors, and the book signings I have coming up. It seemed like it was over almost before it began but I guess we chatted for 2 minutes or more. Within 35 minutes I was in and out and on my way.
When the interview airs, I will make sure to get a copy of it to link to here and will probably put it onto Youtube as a promo for the book. All in all, a neat experience!
